Broadway saw a notable correction this week, with total grosses falling 17.49% to $26.04M and attendance dropping to 221,567, due in part to weather-related cancellations on Sunday and Monday evening that impacted several productions. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child once again led the boards, grossing $2.16M at the Lyric despite one fewer performance. Hamilton followed with $1.76M, while The Lion King dipped sharply (-$598K) to $1.33M. Among the regular heavy hitters, Wicked grossed $1.31M, Hadestown held strong at $1.30M, and Just in Time continued to command one of the highest average tickets on Broadway at $264, grossing $1.48M. On the play side, Stranger Things: The First Shadow also remained resilient at $1.28M.

Several shows experienced weather-driven swings. Operation Mincemeat fell $444K to $664K, The Great Gatsby dropped $474K to $674K, and MJ slipped $295K to $991K. Maybe Happy Ending declined to $818K, while Moulin Rouge! The Musical and The Outsiders each fell into the mid-$800Ks. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were down 6.78%, reflecting both the calendar shift and lost performances, though overall capacity remained a healthy 87.76% as Broadway moves toward the spring ramp-up.
