Broadway Grosses w/e 4/26/2026

Broadway rebounded modestly this week, with total grosses climbing 3.28% to $40.37M and attendance rising to 335,070, as the marketplace stabilized following last week’s post-spring break correction. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child again led all shows at $2.31M, while Hamilton held virtually flat at $1.94M at 100%+ capacity. The Lion King ticked up $77K to $1.89M, and Wicked recovered $63K to $1.41M. Every Brilliant Thing posted its best week yet at $1.65M to a sold-out Hudson, and Death of a Salesman jumped $192K to $1.47M as it settled into its post-opening groove. Chicago surged $250K to $1.59M at over 101% capacity, and MJ rebounded $99K to $1.35M.Elsewhere, Moulin Rouge! The Musical slipped slightly to $1.64M, Ragtime held steady at $1.17M at a full house, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow crossed back over $1M to $1.00M. Fallen Angels had a strong post-opening week, jumping $165K to $598K, while Oh, Mary! climbed $108K to $831K. This week saw official openings for Schmigadoon!, The Balusters, Beaches, The Rocky Horror Show, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, and The Lost Boys, completing a remarkably busy stretch of spring openings. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were down 20.66%, though that comparison is skewed by an unusually strong week last year. Season-to-date grosses stand at $1.75B, running 5.20% ahead of last season.
