Broadway Grosses w/e 5/24/2026

Broadway closed out Memorial Day weekend on a strong note, with total grosses jumping 6.66% to $40.71M and attendance rising to 336,648. Every Brilliant Thing finished out Daniel Radcliffe’s extraordinary run by topping this week’s grosses with $2.30M, playing to a sold-out Hudson at an average ticket price of $291 — a remarkable achievement for a solo show. Hamilton surged $148K to $2.04M at 101% capacity, while The Lion King climbed $264K to $1.98M. Death of a Salesman held strong at $1.64M on a seven-performance week, and Oh, Mary! remained a standout at $1.53M. MJ had a big week, jumping $153K to $1.59M, and Wicked rebounded $352K to $1.46M. The Lost Boys crossed $1.29M, and Ragtime played to a full house at $1.30M.

Among other notable movers, Stranger Things: The First Shadow surged $276K to $1.01M, Schmigadoon climbed $72K to $914K, and The Outsiders jumped $136K to $930K. Cats: The Jellicle Ball’s grosses also continue to climb following Tony nominations, earning $1.03M this last week at nearly full capacity. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, while still grossing $1.16M, saw a significant attendance uptick as premium pricing softened.

CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY opened at the Shubert on 5/18.
BEACHES, A NEW MUSICAL closed on 5/24.
DEATH OF A SALESMAN had a planned seven-performance week. THE BOOK OF MORMON did not have any performances this week due to a fire at the O’Neill on Mon. 5/4.
Memorial Day weekend fell within this week (Week 52). Last season, Memorial Day weekend fell within Week 53.
EVERY BRILLIANT THING had five performances with 986 seats and three performances with 985 seats this week, for a total capacity of 7,885.
