Broadway Grosses w/e 5/17/2026

Broadway held essentially flat this week, with total grosses slipping just 0.34% to $38.17M and attendance easing to 316,920 — a headline shaped almost entirely by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’s $1.38M collapse from last week’s $2.30M to $925K. Every Brilliant Thing led all shows at $1.98M for another season high, while Hamilton surged $177K to $1.89M at just over 100% capacity. Death of a Salesman had its biggest week yet, jumping $254K to $1.71M to a sold-out house, and Oh, Mary! climbed $329K to $1.58M. MJ rose $73K to $1.44M, Ragtime held firm at $1.25M to a full house, and Maybe Happy Ending rebounded $138K to $1.17M for its strongest showing in weeks.On the downside, The Lion King eased $82K to $1.71M, Moulin Rouge! The Musical slipped $51K to $1.21M, and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone gave back $56K to $1.04M after several strong weeks. Death Becomes Her fell $70K to $693K and The Rocky Horror Show dropped $50K to $1.02M, while & Juliet shed $27K to $625K. Among the brighter spots further down the chart, Aladdin jumped $112K to $1.05M, Buena Vista Social Club edged up $64K to $960K, and Just in Time climbed $52K to $890K at just over 100% capacity. Season-to-date grosses now stand at $1.87B, running 3.8% ahead of last season.
