Broadway Grosses w/e 6/21/2026

Broadway climbed 1.01% to $38.95M for the week ending June 21st, a modest uptick that masked some significant movement underneath the surface, with 38 shows playing to 307,921 theatergoers at 85.69% capacity.

Hamilton remained the week’s top grosser at $2.21M its strongest showing of the young season with a sold-out house at the Richard Rodgers. Death of a Salesman wasn’t far behind at $1.93M on just seven performances, continuing to prove that the revival is one of the most commercially potent plays Broadway has produced in years. The Lion King crossed $2.00M for the first time this season, landing at $1.999M, and MJ had a strong week at $1.60M. Every Brilliant Thing continued to be the season’s most remarkable play story, jumping $137K to $1.18M at 99.34% capacity in a house with under 800 seats. Giant held near sellout at $1.47M, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone climbed $144K to $1.06M, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child had its best week of the season at $1.56M.

Season to date, Broadway has grossed $153.05M across 157 playing weeks running 11.59% behind last season’s pace. That gap is real and worth watching. But with summer tourism now in full swing and a competitive slate of shows on the boards, there’s still runway ahead.
