Broadway Grosses w/e 9/13/2026

Broadway dipped 4.72% to $25.02M as Rosh Hashanah and the tail end of NYC Broadway Week shaped a transitional market, with the year-over-year gap widening to 16.96% — a comparison distorted by the stronger fall roster last season rather than any underlying weakness. Hamilton had the week’s standout performance, surging $354K to $2.54M as post-summer premium demand accelerated, while The Lion King eased slightly to $1.66M and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child held near $1.54M. Oh, Mary! remained a steady earner at $1.12M near full capacity, and MJ eased to $1.51M. Wicked climbed $87K to $1.20M, and Titanique held just over $1M for a second consecutive week. Chicago surged $185K to $997K at just over 100% capacity, a notable result for the Ambassador.Elsewhere, the market reflected the typical mid-September lull with several titles softening as the post-Labor Day glow faded. The Lost Boys slipped $240K to $1.04M, The Outsiders fell $195K to $759K, and The Great Gatsby gave back $129K to $860K as the roster reset ahead of the fall preview season. Paranormal Activity continued its solid run at $817K at nearly 100% capacity, and Buena Vista Social Club posted a quiet gain to $883K.
