Broadway Grosses w/e 9/20/2026

Broadway rebounded 8.20% to $27.07M as the final week of NYC Broadway Week lifted attendance to 236,037 at a strong 95% capacity across 26 productions. Hamilton led all shows at $2.62M at just over 100% capacity, while The Lion King climbed $103K to $1.76M. Oh, Mary! had a standout week, surging $401K to $1.52M, and MJ rose $108K to $1.62M. Titanique closed on September 20 after a strong run at the St. James, going out with its biggest week of the season at $1.35M — a fitting send-off. Wicked climbed $102K to $1.31M near full capacity, and Schmigadoon! rose $115K to $1.04M. The Great Gatsby crossed $1M with a $155K gain, and Buena Vista Social Club played to a full house at $987K.

The week’s gains were broad, with most of the roster benefiting from Broadway Week demand. Stranger Things: The First Shadow jumped $102K to $822K, The Outsiders gained $97K to $856K, and Two Strangers rose $121K to $640K. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, however, pulled back $575K to $966K as premium pricing softened significantly after last week’s spike. School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play continued in previews at the Friedman ahead of its September 28 opening. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were down 15.94%, a gap driven almost entirely by the two-show difference in roster size.

THE LOST BOYS had seven performances with 1,648 seats and one performance with 1,306 seats this week, for a total capacity of 12,842. As this report cannot accommodate both capacities, the number of seats is displayed as 1,605.
