Broadway Grosses* w/e 2/19/2017 – School’s out, grosses up!
Greetings Gross Fans!
Despite all the drama with our current President, this President’s Day weekend was a great one for Broadway. Grosses were up 29% from last week.
The popular newcomers, Dear Evan Hansen, A Bronx Tale, and Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 all stayed strong, each breaking 1 million in grosses, with Sunset Boulevard pulling in 1.3 on only 7 shows!
School vacation continues into this week, so I’d expect another biggie, before winter takes one more bite out of us at the end of the month.
