Broadway Grosses w/e 2/24/2019: Steady Box Office as Spring Openings Line Up.
Grosses remained steady this week at $30M, just under the previous week. Many shows slipped slightly coming out of last week’s holiday bump, and a few shows added preview performances which were just enough to keep overall gross and attendance in line with last week.
Newly in previews, Be More Chill softens this week after a record first 7 previews at the Lyceum. Similarly, the new cast at The Ferryman saw a dip in grosses from the previous week, though still selling to 87% capacity.
