Broadway Grosses w/e 5/12/2019: We Want More of Morrissey
Last week Morrissey got his piece of the action during an especially crowded and competitive time on Broadway. His residence at the Lunt-Fontanne pulled in nearly $1.9M for seven performances. Overall grosses dropped 4.57% to $36.8M.
Tootsie, Ain’t Too Proud, and Hadestown continue to benefit from the awards chatter, each showing some of the largest week-over-week increases on the boards.
