Broadway Grosses w/e 9/15/2019: No More September Slump
A slate of new offerings has buoyed Broadway box offices which jumped 12% last week to $29M. Freestyle Love Supreme, Slave Play, The Height of the Storm, and The Sound Inside all joined the boards with preview performances.
Also to the rescue was Broadway Week’s 2-for-1 promotion which gave shows like Tootsie and Come From Away, and Beautiful a six-figure boost.
