Company Manager – Orlando Shakespeare Theater/UCF
WHO: Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF
SEEKING: Orlando Shakespeare Theater in partnership with UCF, an AEA regional theatre company celebrating its 22nd season, seeks a committed, detail-oriented, and energetic arts administrator to fill the role of Company Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Company Manager reports to the Artistic Director and is responsible for duties including, but not limited to arranging housing, travel, food, and events for staff and guests, scheduling season auditions, as well as serving as the assistant to the Artistic Director and Production Manager.
REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidates should also have excellent writing, communication and organizational skills, be computer and internet savvy, be able to maintain confidentiality, and be able to work independently. Must be resourceful, have excellent people management skills, a positive attitude, and be able to think outside the box. This candidate may also be required to drive a company vehicle (passenger van or box truck). A well-rounded theatrical/office management background and professional experience is preferred. Positions are full-time from August through mid-May.
PAY: Compensation includes salary of $455 per week plus benefits. No housing provided.
