POSITION: Development Administrator

DESCRIPTION: The National Theatre of Great Britain (NT) is probably the busiest theater in the English-speaking world. In its three theaters on the South Bank in London, the NT presents an eclectic mix of new plays and classics from the world repertoire. The American Associates of the National Theatre (AANT) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, based in New York, that promotes and supports the work of the National Theatre in both Great Britain and the United States.

Since 2005, the AANT has granted more than $10 million to the National Theatre, providing essential funding which supports the NT’s mission, and is seeking a new member of its busy fundraising team.

The Development Administrator will support the AANT in all aspects of administration, including administering the AANT’s membership program, managing the AANT’s financials (bookkeeping, preparation of budgets, processing donations), taking ticket bookings and event RSVPs from high level donors, event support and stewardship.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate educated to degree level, with at least two years of administrative experience, experience of working in a fundraising or customer service environment, and proven organizational, record-keeping and communication skills.
