POSITION: Development and Special Events Associate
DESCRIPTION:The National Theatre of Great Britain (NT) is probably the busiest theater in the English-speaking world. In its three theaters on the South Bank in London the NT presents an eclectic mix of new plays and classics from the world repertoire.
The American Associates of the National Theatre (AANT) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, based in New York, that promotes and supports the work of the National Theatre in both Great Britain and the United States.
Since 2005, the AANT has granted more than $10 million to the National Theatre, providing essential funding which supports the NT’s mission, and is seeking a new member of its busy fundraising team.
The AANT events program is tailored to National Theatre productions, activities and appeals in the U.S., providing opportunities to steward and cultivate donors, as well as raise crucial funds.
The Development and Special Events Associate will manage this program of events throughout the year, including logistics and administration, in addition to providing donor cultivation and membership support.
An exceptional opportunity for a candidate educated to degree level, with proven events organization and project management experience, a keen interest in fundraising and proven administrative, communication and customer service skills.
