POSITION: Director of Development
DESCRIPTION: George Street Playhouse, a LORT C Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a dynamic fundraising professional to craft, lead and implement strategies to secure and grow foundation, government, corporate and individual support for $4.5 million company’s acclaimed main stage season and educational programming. Excellent networking, communication, financial management and computer/organizational skills are a must as well as an outgoing and friendly personality. Successful candidate brings a creative and bold new approach to fund development, while leading a team of three and collaborating with both senior staff and the board of directors. A background in major gifts a plus. BA plus five years + experience in non-profit arts fundraising or related field preferred.
