Reader / Examining Doctor:
AVAILABLE TRACK. Male, any age. He will introduce the play every evening, read stage directions, and play a pivotal scene with Emma every night. Casting personnel state, “We are looking for exciting ideas to do a few weeks at a time.”
Mickey:
AVAILABLE ROLE. Jewish, 35-50. Put upon; victim with a sense of humor.
Tommy:
AVAILABLE ROLE. 30-40. Funny, outrageous. Southern boy who is all the way out of the closet.
Hiram:
AVAILABLE ROLE. 35-50. Closeted, uptight bureaucrat in the mayor’s office. Actor will also cover and play Bruce, Felix and Tommy at certain performances.
Craig / Grady:
AVAILABLE TRACK. 30-40. Two smaller roles. Actor will also cover Mickey, Ben and Ned at certain performances.

The following roles are cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary, and as understudies.
Ned Weeks:
CAST. 30-45. Intense, activist, both difficult and charming.
Ben Weeks:
CAST. 40-60. A lawyer, conservative, successful, uncomfortable with gays, but loves his brother.
Felix:
CAST. 35-45. Closeted, attractive, NY Times reporter.
Bruce:
CAST. 30-40. Very handsome, charismatic, All-American banker, still in the closet.
Emma:
CAST. 40-60. Fiercely independent doctor and researcher. Opinionated. A fighter.
WHEN: 1st reh: 4/3/11. Runs 4/19-7/10 at a Broadway theatre TBA.
PAY: Broadway/Production Contract $1,653/week minimum.
