Any ethnicity. Characters’ age range: 20s-30s. Seeking exceptional dancers who sing. Ballet training helpful.

One Exceptional Male Ballet Dancer:
Any ethnicity. Character age range: 20s-30s.

WHEN: 1st reh: 7/12/11. 1st perf: 9/1. Opening date TBA. Closes 1/15/12. Plays Studio 54.

PAY: LORT $1,231/week minimum.

Monday, March 7, 2011
10 AM – Equity female dancers who sing

Tuesday, March 8, 2011
10 AM – Equity male dancers who sing

Where:

New 42nd Street Studios
229 West 42nd Street, Studios 3A and 3B
New York City
Studios/holding room open at 9 AM each day;
no admittance before that time.

Notes/What to bring:

Note on the day’s schedule: Each day, casting personnel will take a one-hour lunch break after the fourth group of dancers has finished dancing. After this break, auditions will resume with the fifth group (if any).

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. NO sneakers of any kind and NO baggy warm-up clothing. Women: Bring flats and heels. Men: Bring jazz shoes. Some may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16-32 bars that show your voice at its best. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.
