Harmony is Now Available for Licensing
It’s official.
Harmony is now available for licensing.
That’s right — the musical I had the privilege of producing on Broadway last year, which had an all-too-short run (don’t get me started), is now ready to be produced by YOU.
Whether you’re running a community theater in Kansas, a regional house in California, or a college program in Ohio…
You can now produce Harmony.
Or catch it at a theater near you — anywhere in the country, or even around the world.
And here’s the best part…
We already have our first licensed production lined up.
The Hale Center Theatre in Utah — those amazing folks — will be bringing Harmony to life next summer.
If you’re in Utah (or just love the show), grab your tickets fast. They’re gonna go.
Now, let me be real for a second.
Getting this licensing deal done — and securing a first production — was not easy.
And I get it.
In today’s climate, with all the cultural and political turbulence, it’s hard for theaters to know what stories to tell.
But that’s exactly why this is so important.
Harmony is a story that needs to be told.
Now more than ever.
Which is why I am so grateful — so proud — of theaters like the Hale Center Theatre and of our incredible licensing partners, for having the courage to say:
Yes. We’re going to tell this story.
Because the story of the Comedian Harmonists isn’t just history —
It’s a reminder.
A warning.
An inspiration.
And we won’t let it be forgotten again.
So thank you to the Hale Center Theatre.
Thank you to every theater out there that’s about to jump in and take this on.
And a huge, heartfelt shoutout to my co-producer, Megan Ann Rasmussen, who was instrumental in brokering this deal and making it happen.
That’s what theater is about.
Collaboration.
Because, as The Comedian Harmonists taught us, only through collaboration can we achieve . . . Harmony.
And I can’t wait to collaborate with you when you license Harmony. (Because yes, we will help!)
