The Sunday Giveaway: Two tickets to Honeymoon in Vegas on Broadway!
Vegas, baby!
The spring season on Broadway began last week when one of the most anticipated musicals of the year opened on Thursday night, to some terrif notices.
I’ve always thought Honeymoon had the potential to make a swell musical, with its Vegas-ian roots and its flying Elvises (Choreographers dream of creating numbers like that). In fact, a little known secret is that I worked on the show for about a minute and a half years ago.
And now it’s got Tony Danza, Rob McClure, and Brynn O’Malley, not to mention my original Abraham from Altar Boyz, David Josefsberg,
And now you’ve got a chance to see the show for free, courtesy of me! (See what I did there with that rhyme? I do a lot of things – lyric writing is not and never will be one of them.)
So let’s play a game . . .
The title of Honeymoon in Vegas reminds me of that old fortune cookie game where you read your fortune, and then you pause for dramatic effect, and add the words “in bed” to the prophecy. For example, “I see big things in your future . . . in bed.” Get it? (Excuse the blue humor on a Sunday, please.)
What if “in Vegas” were like “in bed?”
Come up with your own Broadway fortune and then add “in Vegas” to the end. Comment it below and you could be entered to win.
Need an example? “Moose Murders is getting revived . . . in Vegas,” or “Patti LuPone will yell at you for your cell phone going off . . . in Vegas.”
Simple! Fun! Go!
