POSITION: Marketing Manager
DESCRIPTION: The Straz Center for the Performing Arts (the Straz Center) is seeking to fill the position of Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation, execution and management of marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Develop and identify appropriate audiences and advertising avenues available to gain maximum return for the marketing and promotion of assigned shows, products and projects.
•Negotiate and execute of media planning and media buying including electronic, print, outdoor, digital, and non-traditional.
•Create and execute media promotions and third party promotions.
•Prepare financial advertising settlements by established deadline
•Contribute to audience development initiatives, using psychographic and demographic targets, as well as niche groups and organizations, working to diversify and expand audiences.
•Provide regular analysis of sales and goals, providing updated forecasts as needed.
•Insure that all collateral materials conform to accepted standards of accuracy, clarity, impact, sponsor recognition, timeliness and style.
•Build and maintain community partnerships and strategic alliances
Qualifications:
•Bachelors in Marketing or Communications.
•Five years’ experiences in marketing, advertising, arts discipline, live entertainment industry or related field.
•Experience in promotions, ad planning and media buying is required.
•Print production knowledge preferred.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on tight deadlines.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent negotiating skills
•Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast paced continually changing environment.
•Ability to exhibit flexibility on workload and priorities as needed.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite necessary, particularly Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point and Outlook.
•Ability to work nights and weekends.
