POSITION: Marketing/Website Manager

DESCRIPTION: Actors’ Equity Association, the labor union representing over 49,000 Actors and Stage Managers working in the professional theatre nationwide, is seeking an energetic and motivated person to serve as the Marketing/ Website Manager in its National Office. Reporting to the National Director of Communications, the Marketing/ Website Manager is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies and ensuring that the Actors’ Equity website is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities:
• Under the direction of National Director of Communication, create strategy for branding and marketing
• Create and implement marketing campaigns for branding and other initiatives
• Work with other departments to assist in internal marketing campaigns
• Oversee relationship with outside website coordinator
• Disseminate website content to appropriate communications staff
• Ensure website content is accurate and timely
• Other duties as required or assigned

Skills, knowledge and abilities:
• BA in marketing required
• Experience in marketing for the theatre industry or a labor organization required
• Excellent writing skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills required
• Ability to work in a high energy, deadline driven environment required
• Excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft office and excel required

Compensation:

• $50,000.00 annually
