WHO: The Heights Players present She Loves Me

SEEKING: GEORG NOWACK (25-40) – The soft-spoken, shy, capable manager of the Parfumerie. Likable leading man type. Baritone/Tenor; C3 – G4
AMALIA BALASH (25-40) – A determined, romantic young woman who becomes a salesclerk at the shop. Soprano; C4 – C6 -strong high C, Strong mix
MR. MARACZEK (50+) – The genial-looking gentleman who owns the Parfumerie. Very generous to his employees, but also quite capable of being difficult if the occasion arises. Must move well. Baritone; B2 – C4
ILONA RITTER (30-45) – A wisecracking, sexy salesgirl who gives the impression of a girl that's been around. Good comic role. Mezzo; G3 – C5, Strong Belt to B Flat
STEVEN KODALY (pronounced code-EYE) (30-45) – Handsome, dapper, shallow, opportunistic salesclerk. Good song and dance man. Tenor; A2 – A4, Strong Falsetto
LADISLAV SIPOS (35-50) – Veteran salesclerk at Maraczek's. Looks older than he is. Baritone; A2 – D4
ARPAD (15 – 25) – The Parfumerie's indefatigable errand boy. Young man with big dreams and lots of youthful enthusiasm. Tenor; B2 – F4
WAITER (25 – 50) – Funny character role. Only one scene/song, but the kind of role that can steal the show. This actor will also perform as part of the Ensemble. Tenor; C3 – F4
BUSBOY (20 – 35) – Featured dance role in one number. Other times, a member of the Ensemble.
ENSEMBLE – 5 Females, 3 Males – Varied ages and types to play Shoppers, Restaurant Patrons, Carolers, etc. Must move well. Limited rehearsal time.

HOW TO APPLY: October 9 and 10 at 7 pm. 26 Willow Place, Brooklyn NY. Please prepare a brief (2 min or less) selection from the classic musical theatre repertoire. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music. There will be no dancing at the initial audition, be prepared to move if called back.
