WHO: FreeFall Theatre Company

SEEKING: Versatile and transformational actors adept at musical comedy to play a variety of roles/chorus characters. Roles may be doubled/tripled. All positions are available:
Dionysos:

God of Wine and Drama.

Xanthias:

Dionysos’s slave – “smarter, stronger, more rational, more prudent, and braver than Dionysos”.

Herakles:

“Hercules” – renowned for his strength and masculinity.

Charon:

The boatman – ferries Dionysus and Xanthias across the river Styx. Naps on the job.

Pluto:

Ruler of the Underworld.

Shaw:

George Bernard Shaw – the very soul of reason and intellect. Excellent British accent.

Shakespeare:

William Shakespeare – the very soul of passion and poetry. Excellent British accent.

Ariadne:

Dionysus’s long-dead wife.

Aeakos:

Keeper of the keys to the Underground Palace

Charisma:Sumptuous handmaiden of Persephone.

WHEN: 1st reh: 1/11/11. Runs 1/26-2/13. May extend to 2/20.

PAY: $328/week minimum

Please prepare a song that shows you off to your best ability. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. If time permits, casting personnel may request a short comedic monologue.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
