POSITION TITLE: Programming Budget Manager

DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Associate Production Executive, the individual will provide financial support and budget oversight for show budgets for all programs. He/she will create, manage and track budgets for a variety of program initiatives that are scheduled to take place as far out as three years, and as close as one month for the purposes of decision making, analysis and tracking. Specific responsibilities: Develop templates; anticipate needs of upper management, build and re-project budgets according to information provided by Producers, Production, General Management and Marketing; provide closeout reporting: compile and reconcile actuals at close of each program.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze financial and budgetary data, 3-5 years of experience creating, interpreting and analyzing budgets, the ability to interpret union agreements as they relate to the budgeting process, and advanced proficiency with Excel. A degree in arts administration, finance or accounting , 5-7 years professional experience in theater preferred.
