WHO: Psycho Therapy – Christine De Lisle Casting

SEEKING: 
Lily: 43. Former model claims to be — and can pass for — considerably younger. Now a dealer of contemporary art. She’s never been married, but also never been alone. Or, as she says it, she’s “had many successful relationships. Many.” In spite of her considerable trust issues, she still aspires to marry and have a child — with her clock ticking — a last-gasp compulsion which drives the madness of the play.

Dorian: Man, 35. Lily’s younger boyfriend; has been involved with her twice before. Living in the shadow of a huge trust fund left to him by his late father, he plays a lot of tennis and is very bright and educated, but has no purpose in life. He’s young, sexy and reckless, but his charisma hides his deep-seated insecurity — that people only like him for his wealth. Comedy chops a must.

Male Understudy:Track age: 30s-40s. Covers Dorian and one other role.

Female Understudy:Track age: 40s. Covers Lily and one other role.

WHEN: NYC appointment auditions will be held on 2/29 and 3/1. Show is re-opening after short hiatus. 1st reh: Week of 3/19/12. Runs 4/7-5/26 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

PAY:  $544/week minimum + pension, health.
