We are currently holding auditions for males with a tenor/baritone musical theater belt AND Soprano/belt females.

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Wednesday May 4th 11am-2pm
Champions Studio
257 West 39th Street

This version of the show will be a cast of 10-12 people. We are looking for 2-3 guys and 1-2 girls who will be in or around the New York area May-July.

Please send head shot and resume along with any youtube links or mp3's you may have of you performing so we can determine your style of singing and if we would like to see you at the audition. If you have anything in which you perform songs from the show, we encourage you to send those. Upon receiving your material we will send you a list of what measures/sections of each song we want to hear in the audition if. You can pick any song to audition with BUT must sing the following listed section of the piece.

This audition will work almost more along the lines of a callback than an audition. You DO NOT need to prepare a separate audition song because all materials being performed must be from the show itself. You can prepare one song of choice from the show to audition with but please be familiar with other songs in the show incase you are asked to sing one. You DO NOT need to memorize anything and WILL be allowed to use lyrics or sheet music during the process if you like.

If you are interested in an applying for an audition please email materials to Stephen at newmusicaltheatreseries@gmail.com or call 914-438-1076. If for some reason you CANNOT make the audition Wednesday May 4th and are interested, please contact us and we will try to set something up for you to audition for us at the theatre another day that week. Pleas bring your headshot and resume stapled together.
