The Simplest New Year’s Resolution That Can Have The Biggest Effect.
What I love about the turning of the New Year is that there’s just as much positivity in the air as there is confetti falling on Times Square.
A New Year shouldn’t be about looking backward (even though we all love to do it), it’s about looking forward with a grin and all of us saying together, “I’m so excited about what’s to come.”
Potential. It’s the perfume of champions.
What’s to come can mean getting in shape, lowering your golf score, or making this the year you get your show off the ground.
And as the New Year begins, we’re all infused with positive energy and ready to accomplish our goals no matter what stands in our way.
So want to know how to make sure you crush every goal and accomplish every resolution you have and then some?
Remember this positive energy you feel right now. Bottle it up like Chanel No. 5. And get a whiff of it every day. Because that positivity is exactly what you need to get you to your goals . . . and fast.
Here’s a tip to help you carry that energy with you . . . literally.
Find a piece of confetti from last night. Or make one. I don’t really care. Now take that piece of confetti and put it in a place where you can see it every day . . . your wallet, your bathroom mirror . . . or taped to your computer (where you’re going to finish that play you started in 2015).
I promise that every time you see that little flutterfetti, it’ll make you smile as you remember the energy that is New Year’s Eve.
And that little colored piece of positivity paper will fly you all the way to 2017, where I guarantee you’ll be in an even better place than you are now.
Happy New Year.
