[D’ARTAGNAN]
(Male, 20s). PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES. Must have extensive training and/or experience in stage combat/sword fighting; callbacks will include a stage combat combination. Excellent language skills, classical training, and experience required. D’Artagnan possesses a strong sense of Gascon pride, innate goodness, grace and country-bred values. Over the course of the play, he goes from being an impulsive, overly-confident boy from the countryside, to a sophisticated, fully developed man about Paris. Must be handsome, athletic, charismatic, romantic and heroic.

[ARAMIS]
(Male, early 30s). ALL ETHNICITIES. Must have extensive training and/or experience in stage combat/sword fighting; callbacks will include a stage combat combination. Excellent language skills, classical training, and experience required. Tortured by his sexual obsession, Aramis sequesters himself in the church in an attempt to wrestle with his demons, only to discover he is without the necessary moral strength. A conflicted “bad boy” who oozes sexuality. Must be handsome, smart and athletic.

[ATHOS]
(Male, late 30s-early 40s). ALL ETHNICITIES. Must have extensive training and/or experience in stage combat/sword fighting; callbacks will include a stage combat combination. Excellent language skills, classical training, and experience required. Profoundly wounded by a broken heart in his past, Athos forsakes all women, and puts his energy into his work as a leader of the King’s musketeers. In his darkest moments of self-reflection, he turns heavily to drink. A strong, silent, brooding man with an inflexible sense of honor. Handsome and athletic.

[QUEEN ANNE]
(Female, 20s). ALL ETHNICITIES. Trapped in a sexless marriage, she is on the brink of an affair with the Duke of Buckingham. The desperate yearning in her heart is held back by her political savvy. Smart, beautiful and graceful. Must possess excellent language skills and be able to dance.
