POSITION: Associate Video Editor

DESCRIPTION:Blue Man Productions is looking for an Associate Video Editor to join our Video department. Blue Man Group produces the majority of the video content for our shows and marketing material in house. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative person with the ability to work within a given aesthetic but also bring their own creative input to a project. This position requires an Editor Generalist who is comfortable working with a wide array of projects. The Associate Video Editor must be comfortable working with an established media and project management structure within the studio. This role reports to the Creative Director of the Video Department.

The Associate Video Editor is responsible for the organization and execution of video projects for Blue Man Productions. This position requires a high level of creativity and technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires the skills and flexibility to be able to work on a wide range of projects including:

Broadcast standard commercials
Music videos
File conversion
Transcodes of an array of media and codes
Log and capture

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience. Additional video production experience is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in the following programs:

Final Cut 7
Adobe Premier
After Effects
Photoshop (some)
