Broadway Grosses w/e 3/3/2019: Droppin’ Like It’s Hot (but it’s snowing!)
Despite a few hot new entrants to the Spring slate, grosses froze over, slipping to $27M overall. Most shows experienced six-figure drops over the last week. The average ticket price even dropped by $7.
Ain’t Too Proud played three preview performances to a healthy 97.5% capacity. To Kill A Mockingbird continues to play to SRO audiences and seemingly benefited from staying in the press this past weekend, where stories of whether or not Producer, Scott Rudin, would allow licensed productions across the world to go on dominating.
