For the week ending June 5th, 31 Broadway shows brought in a total of $29,555,352.41. In the previous week, there were 35 shows running bringing in a total of $33,093,844.90.
Despite selling strongly before the pandemic, two Broadway musicals announced closing notices, noting difficulty recovery after the shutdown. Dear Evan Hansen will close September 18, 2022 and Tina will close August 14, 2022.
