Broadway rebounded meaningfully this week, with total grosses climbing 6.06% to $31.77M and attendance rising to 269,655, aided by improving weather conditions and the continued run of NYC Broadway Week. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child once again topped the charts, surging $240K to $2.36M. Hamilton followed with $1.90M, holding steady at just under full capacity, while Mamma Mia! delivered one of the biggest jumps of the week, climbing nearly $400K to $1.82M in the final week of its limited run. Among musicals, Chess stayed strong at $1.43M, Stranger Things: The First Shadow rose $119K to $1.43M, and Just in Time remained one of the most premium-priced shows on Broadway, grossing $1.42M with an average ticket north of $250 and capacity exceeding 100%.

Several titles posted notable gains across the board. The Lion King rebounded sharply, adding $343K to reach $1.50M, while MJ (+$153K), The Book of Mormon (+$171K), Ragtime (+$114K), and Moulin Rouge! (+$112K) all benefited from discount-driven traffic. On the play side, Liberation saw one of the week’s strongest percentage increases, jumping $195K ahead of its February 1 closing, while Oh, Mary! continued its exceptional run at near-full capacity with $1.05M. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were up 7.27%, underscoring solid year-over-year health as Broadway settles into its winter rhythm.
