Broadway Grosses w/e 7/13/2025

Broadway grosses saw a 7.8% increase this week as tourists and locals return to theatres following the 4th of July holiday dip – also up 2.76% from the same week last year. The most notable individual increases at the box office were for John Proctor Is The Villain soaring past $1 million for Sink’s final week, as well as Boop! The Betty Boop Musical which played packed houses in their final week of performances. Meanwhile Call Me Izzy saw a sizable drop with star Jean Smart out of the show for a personal injury. Overall, most shows are playing to softer grosses, with less than half breaking $1 million, though average capacity remains around 90% – slightly down from the same week last year. Regardless, season attendance to date is up 9.04% from last season, which tells us audiences are continuing to find attending Broadway shows to be one of the prime summer activities in NYC.
