BROADWAY GROSSES REPORT 7.6.25: Despite the holiday weekend, Broadway grosses experienced a notable dip, falling 22.35% from the previous week and 12.23% from the same holiday week last season — even with the same number of productions running (30). Remarkably, while overall grosses declined, average capacity ticked up slightly by 0.41%, suggesting that attendance remained steady while average ticket prices dropped.Holding strong were newly crowned Best Musical Maybe Happy Ending and Best Musical Revival winner Sunset Blvd., both of which posted gains. Meanwhile, productions like Gypsy (in an off week for Audra McDonald) and Oh, Mary! (following Cole Escola’s departure) saw dips in both gross and attendance. Even Wicked, Broadway’s current top-grosser, saw a decline of nearly $200K from last week—despite continuing to play to 100% capacity.You can find the rest of the figures below, courtesy of The Broadway League:
