Broadway Grosses w/e 8/4/2019: Hirschfeld Hit
Last week’s overall box office remained steady again, holding on at $34M. Drops came from Wicked and The Lion King returning to a normal 8-performance week, while bumps came from Barry Manilow and Sea Wall/A Life adding performances.
Meanwhile, Moulin Rouge! broke a house record for an 8-performance week at the Hirschfeld, grossing just under $2M. They also had the second-highest average ticket on the street at $190.
