POSITION: Company Manager
DESCRIPTION: DR THEATRICAL MANAGEMENT (DR2 Kids, Love, Loss, & What I Wore, My Name is Asher Lev, Buyer & Cellar, Orchid, The Outgoing Tide) is seeking a full time, Non-Union, Company Manager to join a fast-paced New York City based theatrical production and general management company.
Duties will include, but not be limited to: assisting the General Managers with daily book-keeping, sales reporting, reviewing and filing contracts and research for future productions. Company Manager will be responsible for daily wrap reports, union filings and payments, payroll, house seat orders, house filling, booking travel/housing, attending performances and auditing box office reports. Work schedule will vary based on production schedules, but position is expected to work five to six days per week. Workweek will span across weekends when in production or on a show schedule.
Applicants must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and highly organized. Excellent communication skills, professional manner, and a desire to collaborate are vital. Previous theatre experience (preferably in company management) is required. Applicants must be proficient in Excel, Quickbooks and have a working knowledge of theatrical accounting. Knowledge of the Star System, TicketMaster or Ovation Tix is preferred, but not required.
Position Start Date: July 9, 2013
Salary: Commensurate with experience
