Get ‘Schooled’ next Monday at the next DTE reading.
It’s the final production of this year’s Davenport Theatrical Reading Series!
And we’ve saved a goodie for the lastie.
Schooled is written by Lisa Lewis and is directed by Jules Ochoa, and stars (listen to this cast) Peter Friedman (I was the Associate Company Manager on Ragtime with Peter and watching him night after night was like a master class), fresh face Sarah Steele (featured in this Times article), and Harry Zittel and Zoë Winters.
What’s it about? Glad you asked.
The blurb:
Schooled by Lisa Lewis explores the widening chasm between privilege, economic class and the opportunities for success. Two students vie for a competitive grant from their roguish professor in a taut threesome that tests their romantic relationship and their ethics. A biting drama with surprising humor, Schooled is an examination of the lies we tell ourselves, and the truths we refuse to believe.
The reading will take place on Monday, December 3rd at 8 PM and will feature a talk back, as usual.
And, as usual, we’ve reserved some of the limited number of seats for you.
To RSVP to the reading, email us here. Because of the interest in this production, your order is not complete until you get a confirmation, and each person is only allowed one ticket.
See you there!
