WHO: The Gallery Players

SEEKING: Set Designer & Sound Designer for "What the Butler Saw"

REQUIREMENTS: The right individuals will possess a theater background, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, and will be creative thinkers with excellent people skills. Most work will take place evenings and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set Designer/TD: must be able to design and build set within outlined production schedule. Good communication skills as well as an ability to meet deadlines and come up with creative solutions within budget. Must be able to attend occasional production meetings, tech week 9/4-9/10/10, strike on 9/26/10, and set build dates between 8/1 and 9/3 scheduled according to designer and space availability. Design process to begin immediately.

Sound Designer: must be able to design and create sound cues on your own equipment. Playback is through Qlab on a Mac G5. Designer does not need to run sound during performances. Must be available 9/4-9/10/10 for tech as well as for occasional production meetings.

WHEN: 08/1/2010 – 9/26/2010

PAY: Small stipend provided.
