Broadway dipped again this week, with total grosses falling 2.45% to $38.30M and attendance slipping to 318,376, as the market continued its post-spring normalization — and with The Book of Mormon dark all week following a fire at the Eugene O’Neill on May 4. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child held steady at $2.30M, while Hamilton eased $82K to $1.71M. The Lion King ticked up to $1.80M, and Every Brilliant Thing hit yet another season high at $1.87M to a sold-out Hudson. Death of a Salesman held firm at $1.46M on a seven-performance week, and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone had a strong second week, climbing $152K to $1.09M. Following last week’s Tony nominations announcement, The Rocky Horror Show surged $235K to $1.07M, Schmigadoon! jumped $197K to $843K, Titanique climbed $123K to $853K, and The Lost Boys continued its upward climb to $1.14M.

On the downside, Chicago dropped a steep $1.13M to $556K — a dramatic reversal from its recent strength — while Moulin Rouge! The Musical fell $427K to $1.26M and Oh, Mary! shed $293K to $1.25M after last week’s spike. Wicked slipped further to $1.10M, and Moulin Rouge!’s decline was the week’s second largest in dollar terms. Maybe Happy Ending rebounded $149K to $1.03M, while Giant returned to a full eight-show week and jumped $141K to $1.29M. Season-to-date grosses now stand at $1.83B, running 4.23% ahead of last season.
