BROADWAY GROSSES REPORT 6.22.25: Broadway is heating up—both figuratively and literally!—as the summer season kicks into gear. Total box office grosses rose by 9.67% from last week, buoyed by continued momentum from recent Tony winners like Sunset Blvd, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Purpose, all of which are experiencing strong post-award demand.
Tourist favorites including & Juliet, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Wicked also saw notable upticks, likely driven by the start of summer vacation as schools across the country let out. Two of the largest increases for individual shows came from Floyd Collins and Smash, both of which wrapped up their final week on Broadway.
Compared to this time last year, grosses are up 16.67%, signaling robust audience demand for the dynamic productions from the 2024–2025 season.
