Broadway Grosses* w/e 1/1/2017
Greetings Gross Fans!
Broadway couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2017 or end to 2016. Almost every show hit a new record! To name just a few, Dear Evan Hansen, Oh, Hello, Aladdin, School of Rock, Cats, Matilda, and Phantom of the Opera broke the record for their houses, by grossing the most ever in a year. And grosses weren’t the only thing up, almost every house played above 95% capacity!
Not only were personal records set this week, but Broadway as a whole set a record with their highest grossing year ever!
