Broadway Grosses* w/e 3/26/2017 – Spring is in the Air!
Greeting Gross Fans!
Don’t you just love the start of spring? New shows, high grosses, warm weather…I wish it was spring year round 😉
With all the new shows in previews or opening over the next few weeks we owe a lot of our upward swing to them as well as all the tourists that have been visiting our city for their spring breaks.
Helmed by Bette Midler, Hello, Dolly! broke $1.5 million for just 6 previews and newcomer, Anastasia, played to sold-out crowds suggesting they are a contender to watch this summer…especially as just days after starting previews they released a new block of tickets through January 7, 2018.
We’re up two shows from last week, with more still to come. Plus, with multiple shows opening in the next week, get ready for reviews to either give their sales a healthy kick or cause them to flatline.
