Broadway Grosses w/e 9/29/2019: Leaves are falling, but sales are not!
Last week grosses increased just slightly by 2% to $30M. With attendance increasing the same, the street is steady. Sea Wall/A Life play it’s final performance to nearly full houses and a final weekly gross of $854,678.
Several shows are feeling year two or three growing pains this September over the same weeks in 2018. Harry Potter, Frozen, Dear Evan Hansen, and Mean Girls are all tracking down between $440k to $824k. These are some of the biggest year over year drops we’ve seen this season to date.
