Join me for the Producer’s Perspective Social in . . . London!
Blimey, mates! I’m full of beans because I’m off to jolly ol’ London town!
(BTW, full of beans means “lots of energy” in British slang . . . it doesn’t have to do with any gastrointestinal issues.)
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the West End, so I’m super excited about heading over to see how our sister theater city is doing since I last paid her a visit. I’m going to see a bunch of shows (including my first ever on-stage version of Funny Girl), have a bunch of meetings, and hopefully . . . meet a bunch of you!
That’s right, I’m taking The Producer’s Perspective Social overseas!
I’ve had “socials” here in NYC every single year since I started this blog, and I’ve even done them in Chicago, Los Angeles and Australia. But never in London.
Until Thursday, February 18th at 6 PM!
On the 18th (which is just a week and a half away), I’m holing myself up at the Menier Chocolate Factory bar (right before I see the aforementioned Funny Girl) and inviting all you Londoners to come say hello and mix and mingle with me and your fellow British theater folk.
If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll come. We’ll talk streaming and crowdfunding and the proper time to use the word, “Bollocks!” (It’s my favorite!)
So come Producers, come Directors, come Actors, Designers, Investors and just plain theater fans. It’s going be fun.
You know how I know? Because whenever you get passionate theater folk in the same room, it’s always fun.
The room does have a maximum number of attendees so you must RSVP if you want to come. Use the link below! And spread the word.
See you in the land where Helen Mirren reigns! (She really is The Queen, right?)
