You a writer? Join our Writer Database!
I know, I know, normally my weekly blog posts on Thursday, but I was so excited about this one, I just couldn’t wait.
That’s right, kiddos, we’re starting the only theatrical Writer Database on the web.
Here’s what happened . . .
See, when I work with my consult and coaching clients, I find that two of the most common questions I get are, “How do I find a Director,” and “How do I find a book writer/composer/lyricist?”
Several months ago, we had an idea that we thought might help folks with that Director question . . . and we introduced the only Director Database on the web. There are over 80 directors listed, and here’s the amazing thing . . . since the database went up? I know of at LEAST 5 Directors that have gotten work from it. (Yeah, so if you’re a Director or know any, sign your/their butt up now.)
It was so successful that I said, “Well, we gotta do it for writers now!”
And that brings me to today’s blog.
Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all writers! Register now for the Writer Database!!!
Click here, fill out the quick info form, and we’ll list you in this brand spanking new online community for all the producers, other writers, and even agents who just might be looking for you (they just don’t know it yet). I, myself, can name TEN projects that are looking to complete their creative team with another writer! When it’s done, it’ll be the best online resource to find a new collaborator or a new playwright to produce!Sign up here. It’s totally free. I just hate when people are stuck with their projects and need someone else to help complete it. This database is designed to do just that. It’s like Tinder for Writers – designed to hook you up.
Writers, sign up here for the Writer Database.
Directors, it’s not too late, sign up here for the Director Database.
And stay tuned for the announcement that it’s ready for your perusal.
