Broadway cooled this week following the end of Broadway Week promotions and the Rosh Hashanah holiday, with total grosses slipping 4.41% to $30.8M and attendance down to 233,600. The standout headline was the official opening of Waiting for Godot at the Hudson on September 28, which maintained its strong momentum at $1.62M, selling out at a $208 average ticket.Elsewhere, box office leaders held their ground. Hamilton rebounded to $3.77M (+$175K), while Wicked stayed essentially flat at $2.0M and The Lion King dipped $190K to $1.59M. Among newer titles, Just in Time continued to overperform at Circle in the Square with $1.3M, averaging an impressive $229 per ticket. Oh, Mary! remained steady above $1.3M (closing out the limited run of Jinkx Monsoon), and Mamma Mia! continued its hot streak at $1.61M, selling over capacity once again.
